Dr. M. E. Arroyo-de Dompablo is a Full Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain. She has over 30 years of experience in the area of Solid State Chemistry, including international research at prestigious institutions such as MIT (Prof. G. Ceder´s group) and UCSD (Prof. Y.S. Meng´s group). She has participated in over 30 R&D projects, and her work has resulted in over 80 publications in international journals (H-index: 36, > 5000 citations), 2 world patents, and more than 100 contributions to international conferences and seminars. Her research combines experimental and Density Functional Theory (DFT) methods to develop electrode materials for energy storage and conversion, with significant emphasis on the impact of composition and structure on electrochemical properties.
