“I am a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Warsaw University of Technology - I am currently in my 3rd year, and my area of research is prestressed diaphragm walls. In 2015, I graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering also from Warsaw University of Technology, with a specialization in bridges and underground structures. Currently, I am developing a very innovative issue of designing slurry walls, which will allow for the effective implementation of deep parts of the investment. By placing compression in slurry walls, it is possible to build two underground floors without additional struts and ground anchors. This is a very innovative topic that has not been officially developed in science, and its application in industry will allow for sustainable use of resources, reduction of CO2 emissions and cost-effective implementation of investments. I have been working with industry as a consultant and supervisor since 2014. My portfolio includes the construction of investments such as Varso Tower - the tallest building in the EU, Wedel chocolate factory, and a chocolate factory for the Italian company FERRERO in Poland. I am also a designer and geotechnical engineer who is not afraid of challenges and willing to share my practical experience. Every day I try to develop as an engineer and scientist, because construction, especially the combination of practice and theory, is my greatest passion.”
