Patricia A. Sullivan holds a prominent role as an associate dean in the New Mexico State University College of Engineering and as the NMSU Director for Strategic Initiatives. Dr. Sullivan obtained a doctorate in industrial engineering, a master’s degree in economics and a bachelor’s degree in biology, all from New Mexico State University. She actively engages in various organizations and initiatives, showcasing her commitment to the advancement of higher education, workforce development, and environmental and energy justice through authentic and intentional community engagement. Notably, she serves as a member of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education, contributing her valuable insights and perspectives to this influential organization. Additionally, Dr. Sullivan leads a five state regional effort for EPA and DOE to expand human and financial resource capacity for the advancement of communitybased environmental and energy justice initiatives. Through her engagement in various Boards and Commissions, Dr. Sullivan strives to leverage her passion and commitment to public service to foster positive impacts for the broader community
