Taher Abunama, PhD, is a BEWARE fellow who currently serves as a project chef at CEBEDEAU and SPGE under eWatLink research project, for the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for energy and greenhouse gases (GHG) optimization in wastewater treatment plants. Abunama has more than eight years of technical and teaching experiences in different countries, i.e., Malaysia, South Africa, and Palestine. His expertise can be reflected in his leading and involvement in various international projects related to water, wastewater and environmental monitoring and modeling. Abunama expertise extend to writing, reviewing, and editing of funds proposals and scientific publications in internationally peer-reviewed journals. His scientific research impact factor (as i10-index) is 15 according to Google scholar.
