Ph.D., is a Croatian architect and professor at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb, where she attained her diploma in 1996 and began her career in 2000. She completed the postgraduate scientific study 'Built Heritage' at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Zagreb and at the Zadar Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Split. In 2004, she received her Master of Science degree ('Modern Architecture in the Work of Egon Steinmann'), and in 2009, her doctoral degree ('Historical Buildings in Contemporary Usage'). Her research interests include architectural technology, materials, energy consumption, built heritage, refurbishment, and sustainability, which are also the topics taught in several courses in both undergraduate and graduate study in the Section of Architectural Technology, Building Physics, Materials and Building Technology. She is currently the Head of the Department of Architectural Technology and Building Science. Although primarily concerned with teaching, she takes part in all segments of professional activity: research projects, architectural projects, and publishing. As an author and co-author, she has written and published articles and chapters in books, and books as well as architecture reviews. She has participated in many international conferences. She is engaged in discussions on energy efficiency and comfort in historic buildings, preservation projects of listed buildings and industrial heritage, and modern movement architecture. Since 2001, she has been a member of the Croatian scientific journal for architecture and urban planning ‘Prostor’, and has been a reviewer for both scientific and professional articles. She is a member of Croatian professional associations (Croatian Chamber of Architects, Croatian Architects' Association, and Zagreb Society of Architects).
