I hold a PhD in Parasitic Biology in the Amazon from the State University of Pará (UEPA)/Evandro Chagas Institute (IEC), and I work with the research line of Coccidian Parasites of the Brazilian Amazonian Fauna, with emphasis on the project of the parasite Cyrilia lignieresi in the vertebrate host Synbranchus marmoratus. I have a degree in Physiotherapy, with a specialization in Neurofunctional Physiotherapy; I have a Master's degree in Neurosciences and Cell Biology (UFPA), where I worked with the research line of Neonatal Viral Encephalitis induced by DenV. Currently, I am an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Morphology and Physiological Sciences, in the Center for Biological and Health Sciences, at the State University of Pará (UEPA), campus VIII.
