Dr. Azmin Azliza Aziz is a Senior Lecturer in the Decision Science Department at the Faculty of Business and Economics, Universiti Malaya. She holds a BSc in Industrial Mathematics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), a Master's in Applied Statistics from Macquarie University, Sydney, and a PhD in Operations Research from the University of Warwick. Dr. Azliza’s research interests encompass optimization, digital technologies, IoT, supply chain, halal logistics, as well as behavioral and social media studies. She supervises numerous PhD and Master's students in these areas. Over the past decade, Dr. Azliza has published articles in esteemed journals such as the Journal of Material Cycles and Waste Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, International Journal of Systems Science-Operations & Logistics, Journal of Science and Technology Policy Management, and International Journal of Operations and Quantitative Management. She has also authored multiple book chapters on operations management and halal logistics. Dr. Azliza has presented at numerous local and international conferences and has been invited as a speaker for statistical and quantitative analysis workshops across Malaysia. Recently, she led two research grants on mobile health applications and the Internet of drones, and was honored with two medals at the Malaysia Technology Expo 2021.
