Dr. Hai Dang Le is a civil engineer and academic with a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering in South Korea. He currently serves as a Lecturer and Researcher in the Faculty of Civil Engineering at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Vietnam. His research focuses on structural dynamics, wind engineering, and energy harvesting for structural health monitoring. Dr. Le has extensive experience in wind testing on cable-stayed bridges and has contributed to several studies on vibration-based assessment of bridge performance. He teaches a wide range of courses, including strength of materials, theoretical mechanics, concrete bridge design, steel bridge design, prestressed concrete structures, and structural dynamics. His work aims to advance sustainable and resilient infrastructure through innovation in dynamic analysis and monitoring technologies. Title of talk : Hybrid Energy Harvesting from Natural Wind and Traffic-Induced Bridge Vibrations.
