Rok Petkovšek is professor of Physics and Photonics at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. He is head ofLaboratory for Photonics and Laser systems (FOLAS), which he founded in 2016.His research interests include research and development of special laser sources and their different niche application in industry, medicine, research and others fields. He has published approximately 100 peer-reviewed journal papers and is author of several patents and patent applications.
