Zhiyong Li is an associate professor at Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He received his BS degree in optics information sciences and technology from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2009, and his PhD degree in physical electronics from Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2014. In 2018, he joined the Youth Innovation Promotion Association in Chinese Academy of Sciences. His current research interests are RF excited CO2 lasers and amplifiers,2 μm lasers, diode pumped gas lasers, and tunable long-wave-infrared lasers based on ZGP-OPO.
