Mario Bertolotti is retired professor of Physics and Optics at the University of Roma La Sapienza, Italy. He has worked in optics and lasers since the very beginning. He has authored more than five hundred scientific papers on peer reviewed scientific journals and four books on the History of laser, Cosmic rays, Photonics, and Scattering of light. He is fellow of the Institute of Physics, EOS, Optica, and the Italian SIOF
