Dr. R. J. Venkatesh is an accomplished academic and researcher with over 23 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Known for his innovative approach to teaching and strong emphasis on research, he has contributed significantly to student development, institutional growth, and advancements in his domain. Currently working as assistant professor in SRM Madurai college for Engineering and Technology, Madurai. Published works in leading journals, including Scopus-indexed papers on IoT-enabled systems and renewable energy.Guided industry-linked UG projects and received accolades, including the International Teacher Award (2022).Authored the book "VLSI Design". Key Achievements are Successfully led a DRDO-funded project worth ₹14.98 lakhs on BLDC Motor Drives.Authored multiple research papers in prestigious journals, including Elsevier and Springer publications.Received a patent for an IoT-based weather reporting system. Published articles on cutting-edge topics like Cyber-Physical Systems, EV solar charging systems, and energy harvesting techniques.At Velammal College of Engineering and Technology Served as Associate Professor and led initiatives like MoUs with TI Innovation Lab.Conducted energy audits and organized AICTE-sponsored conferences. He has expertise in guiding student research in IoT, Embedded Systems, and BLDC Motor Drives, with a keen interest in areas like Control Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Electromagnetic Theory, and System Theory.Also an active participant in academic and industrial collaborations, having successfully completed funded projects, published scholarly works, and organized national and international conferences.
