Ismail Lawal was born in 1983 in Kaduna, Kaduna state, Nigeria. He completed high
school at Umar bin Khattab model school, Tudun-nupawa Kaduna. He received his B.Eng
in Electrical Engineering and M.Eng. in control and instrumentation engineering from the
Bayero University Kano, Kano State, Nigeria, in 2011 and 2021, respectively. He started
his career as a sound and maintenance engineer at the Freedom Radio station in Kaduna for a year. He later joined the service of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Abuja Nigeria as an engineer, and rose to his current rank of principal research officer. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate awaiting my VIVA VOCE Exams at the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).
