"Mehrnoosh Heydari is a distinguished Mining Engineer specializing in environmental, economic, and social impact assessments of large-scale and deep open-pit copper mines. Holding a Ph.D. of Mining engineering and an MBA and master's in mining engineering, she brings extensive expertise in mining sustainability, critical minerals supply chains, and their role in renewable energy technologies. Currently, Mehrnoosh works as a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge and a team member of the Climate Compatible Growth Project in the UK, investigating critical mineral supply risks and strategies for diversification.
