Professor Oscar Cuanalo is Civil Engineer (Benemerita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla, BUAP), Master in Engineering (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, UNAM) and Doctor of Science (Construction Department of Universidad Martha Abreu, Cuba). He is currently professor-researcher at Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP), member of Mexican Society of Geotechnical Engineering (SMIG), member of civil engineers college of the state of puebla (CICEPAC) and emeritus professor of European Geosciences Union (EGU). He has worked 25 years on Risks-Disasters due to Geotechnical- Geological Phenomena, published 5 books on landslides and 3 books on soil improvement (under-excavation and hydrofacture injection techniques used in the Metropolitan Cathedral Geometric Correction), he is referee reviewer of articles for the "World Journal of Civil and Construction Technology.
