Dr. Ali Radwan earned his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Mechanical Power Engineering from Mansoura University, Egypt, in 2007 and 2012, respectively. He completed his PhD in Energy Resources Engineering from the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST) in 2018, a joint collaboration between Egypt and Japan. Following this, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at Hokkaido University, Japan, for two years. With over 17 years of academic experience, Dr. Radwan has held various positions, ranging from teaching assistant to associate professor, across institutions in Egypt, Japan, and the UAE. He also directed the Center of Renewable Energy at Mansoura University from August 2020 to August 2021. In August 2021, he joined the Sustainable & Renewable Energy Engineering Department at the University of Sharjah (UOS) as an Assistant Professor, where he continues to contribute professionally to all his duties and assignments. Dr. Radwan has received several prestigious awards, including the first-place distinction for the best PhD thesis among all engineering faculties in Egypt between 2016 and 2018. He has published over 112 Scopus-indexed papers in peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. Throughout his academic career, he has secured numerous research grants in collaboration with institutions such as E-JUST, Hokkaido University, LSBU in the UK, and UOS.
