Canan Ozkan, PhD is the Director of Green Economy and Climate Change Division of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT), where she devised and set up the work programme of the newly established Division. Her main responsibilities include coordinating climate-related work and policies of CBRT and actively contributing to the national climate agenda. Earlier in her career, she worked at the Financial Stability as well as at the International Institutions and Regulations Divisions of CBRT. She also has 3 years of work experience as a Financial Sector Specialist at the Finance & Markets Division of World Bank. Here, she led several projects in MENA region ad presented in workshops and international conferences. Finally, she has an MBA in Finance from University of Wisconsin, Madison, US. Currently, she is scaling a new challenge at Bogazici University, and trying to finalize her PhD thesis in Finance, focusing mainly on sustainable development, sustainable finance, and energy economics. She got her PhD from Bogazici University, İstanbul
