My Driss RAHMANI is currently a full professor of computer science at the University Mohammed V in Rabat, Morocco. He was Head of the Department of Computer Science until 2015. He received his PhD from the University of Montpellier 2 (France) in 1989. During his scientific career, he gained experience in several research areas such as business process modelling, wireless sensor networks, urban modelling, smart cities, vehicle tracking modelling, electric vehicles, the future of transportation, including battery management, range optimization and energy consumption prediction by machine learning. He has served as a committee member for several international conferences. He has also worked as an expert for the National Centre for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST), particularly on applications of artificial intelligence applications in the field of agriculture. He has more than 25 years of teaching experience (concurrent programming, high performance computing, graphical user interfaces, XML technology, distributed artificial intelligence…).
