Héber Cláudius Nunes Silva is a mechanical engineer with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), specializing in energy and sustainability. He has been a professor at the Federal Institute of Pernambuco (IFPE) since 2012, focusing on thermal engineering, energy efficiency, cogeneration, exergy analysis, industrial process improvement, and green energy solutions. His research interests include energy transition, sustainability, and polygeneration systems. He has published scientific articles in high-impact journals and serves as a reviewer for Energy Conversion and Management. Additionally, he has experience in academic administration and international collaborations, having conducted a research internship at Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Spain.
