Dr. Sabeur Hassen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Bisha, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and is affiliated with the National School of Engineers of Tunis (ENIT), University of El Manar, Tunisia. He obtained his PhD from Université de Marne-la-Vallée in collaboration with École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (France). His research focuses on the behavior of concrete and cementitious materials subjected to elevated temperatures, including fire effects, heating–cooling cycles, residual mechanical properties, and microstructural evolution. His work integrates experimental testing with advanced characterization techniques such as thermal analysis and X-ray diffraction. Dr. Hassen has published extensively in high-quality international journals and conferences and has supervised several doctoral and master’s theses.
