Dr. Tapas Ranjan Panigrahi is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at GIET University, Gunupur, Odisha, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, specializing in seismic and elastic wave propagation, with a focus on understanding Earth’s subsurface structures through mathematical modeling. His research interests include solid mechanics, elastodynamics, and seismic wave analysis. Dr. Panigrahi has published several research articles in reputed international journals and has received multiple Best Paper Presentation Awards at National and International Conferences. He is a recipient of prestigious fellowships, including Institute of Mathematics fellowship (during M.Sc. period), the SERB–DST Fellowship (Government of India) and the Institute Fellowship from BITS Pilani. With extensive teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, he actively contributes to academic administration and student development. He has successfully conducted two National Conferences and one Teachers’ Enrichment Workshop, demonstrating his commitment to academic leadership and faculty development.
