Dr. Mohammad Q. Hamdan is an Assistant Professor and the Head of the Architecture Engineering Department at Middle East University, Jordan. He specializes in sustainable design, energy retrofit strategies, and climate-responsive architecture. He recently completed his PhD at the University of Nottingham, where he developed digital frameworks for assessing neighborhood-scale retrofit solutions. Dr. Hamdan is a recognized researcher with publications in high-impact journals, including Energy and Buildings Journal and Building and Environment. His work focuses on bridging academic research with practical, data-driven design strategies to achieve net-zero urban development.
