Anwesha Panda is a fourth year PhD scholar at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She is currently a Prime minister research fellow (PMRF). She earned her BSMS degree from the same institute, IISER Kolkata. In her MS thesis, she worked on Interferometric weak measurements and its applications in magneto-optics. In her PhD, she is working on Spin-Orbit Interaction generating optical vortices, under the supervision of Prof. Nirmalya Ghosh. She is also interested in astrophysics.
