Dr. Ashwani Kumar Randev, Professor in Agricultural Economics served the State Horticulture & Forestry University at various positions for about 31 years. Dr. Randev served as Head of Department of Social Sciences and retired as Dean, College of Horticulture & Forestry from the same University. He has taught UG/PG/Doctoral courses in Agricultural Economics and as a Visiting Faculty to the international faculty of Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) taught a course on ‘Economic Analysis and Environmental Impact Assessment’ and guided multi-disciplinary PG/doctoral research scholars. He has been the national Coordinator of a project entitled ‘Watershed Management Networking Centre – India’ under Participatory Watershed Management Training program in Asia funded by FAO/UNDP and Govt of Netherlands from 1996 to 1999. Dr. Randev has been in Editorial Board of various journals and a reviewer of research papers for national/international journals. He has guided eighteen research scholars in the field/s of Agriculture, Water Resource Engineering and Agribusiness Management. Dr. Randev has formulated about 11 major multi-disciplinary projects at University level funded by various national and international agencies and published about 56 publications and made about 31 research paper presentations at national and international levels.
